I have always loved motorsport and intended to race professionally. I am always on the look out for new options and am always open to all and any possibilities.

Quite frankly ... I would race Steamrollers if we could get a big enough field of them and find a track.

Whilst my early passion was single seater racing now it seems that my greatset opportunities lie in the Australian V8 Supercar Series. In the early days my family were very supportive and worked hard to help finance my racing.

I left Palmerston North Boys High School in 2003 after completing four years study and enjoyed representing the school playing first eleven hockey. Later on that year I was awarded a scholarship by the Prime Minister of New Zealand and undertook an Automotive Technician's course in 2004.

In 2003 I spent a month in England on a scholarship working at McLaren and I have recently returned from the States where I raced and tested wings and slicks cars and also worked for a professional sports car team.

In the 2003 & 2004 seasons - and for a bit of a laugh I had a go at Holden HQ racing and won the New Zealand Championship in both of those years.

2004/2005 along with Ash Cairns we ran one of the new Formula Toyota cars in the inaugural series and finished fifth.

After that Ash and a number of local businessmen chipped in to pay for a drive in a couple of the V8 Ute Series rounds. I qualified fourth and finished fifth overall in the first round at Wakefield Park. At Eastern Creek two weeks later I qualified on the front row of the grid, won the first race and broke the lap record.

After that I was approached by Alan Porter the owner of Kanga Loaders Racing and asked if I would like to drive the number 41 V8 SS Commodore Ute for the remander of the Ute Series in 2005.

These days my racing is primarily funded by Kanga Loaders Racing with a bit of help from Ash and a few of the guys from Palmerston North.

My relationhship with Kanga Loaders Racing has now developed into one where I am racing a Kanga sponsored AU Falcon in the 2006 Fujitsu V8 Supercar Series.

I always used to say when I was asked this question that my ambition was to become a professional race car driver. I guess I'm well on my way now.
